An unquestionable positive aspect of chess is that the competition is mixed, that is, men and women compete in the same field. As a result, chess has turned out to be very useful for promoting gender equality.
In this lecture, Ana Matnadze and Mónica Calzetta, two strong chess players, will share their thoughts about this matter.
